Is your logo working for you?

In a world full of diverse and ever changing media, you need a logo that is flexible and adaptable to multiple mediums and trends in design.  A logo isn’t something that stays the same forever.  When design trends shift, your logo also needs to shift to reflect those trends never losing the essence of the image.  That’s what makes a successful logo.

Brand consistancy and recognition is so important in today’s competitive marketplace so the first step to marketing a business is ensuring the "logo" is doing it's job.

Things a designer needs to know when creating a logo include…
- Company name?
- What is the tone of your company? (Serious, Business Minded, Relaxed, etc.)
- What does your company do?
- What type of logo are you looking for? (A symbol, just type, type with a symbol)
- How will the logo created be used?  (Online, in print, signage applications etc.)
- Do you have any colours in mind?
- Are there any logos that you really like or don't like?
- Who are your main compeditors?
